Phase II of BMO Field’s $120 million expansion is well underway and fans will see some exciting changes in place for the 2016 campaign.

Phase II

Construction of the $55 million second phase started in the fall of 2015 with the ground breaking for the ‎installation of the four massive super columns that will hold up the roof. Once completed, the canopy will cover all of the seats in the east, west and south stands.

With the addition of the canopy next season, we will also be introducing a rigging system for tifo displays, similar to those in European stadiums, as well as new sound and lighting systems. Another notable change for Season 10 at BMO Field will be in the north end as we renovate that area to increase configuration flexibility and allow us to host a wider range of events. We look forward to updating you in the coming months as the project progresses and sharing more details with you as we draw closer to the start of next season.
